Kimberly June is founder and CEO of Springforward, Inc., an IT services, training, and certification company located in Hanover, MD.  Most recently, Ms. June has teamed with the Small Business Resource Center (SBRC) of Baltimore, Maryland to provide, as a community service, project management workshops to small business owners and local business professionals.  She is committed to building professional project management awareness and plans to add advanced certification training to the schedule of courses at the SBRC in 2012 and 2013.

Prior to launching Springforward, Ms. June held a variety of corporate positions.  She worked with a leading office products company as a sales executive, as an account manager with a small, minority-owned staffing company, both in Maryland, and as a program director with an international education and training company in Washington, DC.  The experiences, roles, and skills acquired in the years prior to launching Springforward served as a solid foundation for her direction and focus.

Ms. June received a M.B.A in International Business from Penn State's Smeal College of Business, in 1994 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Penn State in 1991.  While in the graduate program, she studied abroad at the ESADE, one of the top global centers in management in Barcelona, Spain, and interned with Dupont-Merck Pharmaceutical Company in Wilmington, Delaware.  Additional education and development accomplishments include “Building a High-Performing Business” at the Tuck School of Business- Executive Education- Dartmouth College, 2008, and certification as a Project Management Professional, PMP, in 2009.  In 2012, she received the Outstanding Supplier Award from the Morehouse College Entrepreneurship Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
